Ivan Morales has said that his mind is focused on Colo Colo after being linked to Tottenham Hotspur this week.

According to La Cuarta, Tottenham flew out to Chile last week to discuss potentially signing the 19-year-old striker, but left after baulking at his £4.5 million release clause, only offering a little over half of that price.

Asked by CDF whether he's aware of Spurs' reported interest, Morales said that he was, but insisted that he's happy to remain in South America.

“Yes, that is handled by other people, I focus on what I have to do here," he told CDF. "If I have to play here, I’ll be happy, because that’s what I want, but that’s handled by other people."

It remains to be seen if the North Londoners really want him.

After all, the original report mentioned something about Tottenham being offered 60 percent of his image rights, which is forbidden in English football.

Still, he seems like an exciting prospect and maybe Mauricio Pochettino feels like he can take him to the next level.

Morales already has one cap for Chile to his name and considering he's still a teenager, that supports the fact that he's a very promising talent.
