Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle United fans have taken very different views on Rolando Aarons’ latest tweet.

Wednesday had Aarons on loan last season, but the winger appears to be getting a second chance at Newcastle under Steve Bruce.

If Rafael Benitez had stayed in charge, Aarons was surely on his way out at St. James’ Park.

However, the skilful attacker was included on Newcastle’s pre-season tour and has received game-time recently.

Wednesday are still interested in signing Aarons, but he suggested he enjoyed pre-season with Newcastle on Twitter.

And the responses from Wednesday and Newcastle supporters to his tweet have been very different.

While some Wednesday fans are keen to see Aarons move back to Hillsborough, Newcastle followers are seemingly hoping that he will stay.

Whether Aarons will be a Newcastle player come to the start of the new campaign remains to be seen, but if he does remain at St. James’ Park it will be a huge turnaround.
