The Barcelona right-back would be an excellent addition for Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham have sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid for £20 million, leaving Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters as their right-back options.
The Ivory Coast international has been far from impressive since joining Spurs from Parsi Saint-Germain two years ago, however.
In fact, the Daily Mail reported earlier this year that Tottenham are willing to sell the 26-year-old this summer.
And if Spurs do decide to move Aurier on, they must move for Barcelona ace Nelson Semedo.
The north London outfit have recently been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, with the Mirror reporting that Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of the £30 million-rated ace.
Semedo is one of the quickest full-backs in world football. Tottenham play with an incredibly high tempo, and place great emphasis on their full-backs getting up and down the pitch.
The Portugal international is just as useful in the final third as he is defensively, and he seems to be tailor-made for Spurs' style.
He's comfortable in possession
Having played for Barcelona for the past two years, Semedo is well-versed at receiving the ball from his goalkeeper and building up play from the back.
This is exactly how Pochettino likes his Tottenham side to go about their business.
Semedo has won four league titles during his time with Benfica and Barca, and that kind of experience in winning prolifically could prove to be a valuable asset for Spurs.
If there is one criticism to be made about Pochettino's side, it is that they have a real lack of winners in their team, and the Portuguese's arrival would certainly help with that.
This campaign could be a big season for Tottenham. Now is the time for them to end their 11-year wait for a major trophy, and if Pochettino gets his business right this summer, they will have every chance of doing just that.
