Report: Nathan Broadhead applauded in Everton senior training

Everton youngster Nathan Broadhead has been included in Marco Silva's pre-season tour squad.

According to a report in the Liverpool Echo, Nathan Broadhead drew applause from senior Everton teammates after scoring a brilliant goal in a training game yesterday.

Broadhead has been included in Everton’s pre-season squad which Marco Silva has taken on tour.

 

The 21-year-old is regarded as one of Everton’s brighter prospects, even though he only has one senior appearance to his name.

Broadhead did show his Everton teammates an example of his finishing ability in training yesterday though.

The youngster cut inside and curled in a brilliant goal in a practice match, which was reportedly clapped by many of Everton’s senior players.

Silva will surely have been impressed by Broadhead’s showing in training, but whether he will get more first-team chances at Goodison Park remains to be seen.

Everton are looking for a new striker, but they would be throwing Broadhead in at the deep end if they were to start him next term.
