Everton fans have suggested that they won’t be going for Malcom if Barcelona want £55 million for him.
Marco Silva’s side are known to want to sign Malcom, as they aim to strengthen their attack.
However, at £55 million there is a feeling that Everton would be overpaying massively if they were to snap up the wide man.
If they want £55 million there is zero chance that happens— El Pivote (@elpivoteftbl) July 17, 2019
Barcelona apparently want £55m for Malcolm ha good luck with that lads— Baz (@THT1878) July 17, 2019
No chance at 55M. Time to move on unless they’re willing to be reasonable by about 20M less or so.— TX Bill (@GOT_TXBill) July 17, 2019
Not a chance getting that. £32-£35m be enough.— Graeme McVeigh (@GraemeMcV) July 17, 2019
Your having a laugh. Must be desperate to fund the Neymar deal. I’d rather go for Everton he prob cost less then £35m an it be brilliant Everton playing for Everton— chris anderson (@chrisando1985) July 17, 2019
Too big a risk at that money— tony_rutherford (@tony_rutherford) July 18, 2019
Go for Neres if thats the case— Blue Revolution (@DancemacabreE) July 17, 2019
If Everton do give up on Malcom, as their fans are expecting, then it remains to be seen who they will target instead.
The Toffees have made signing a new winger and a striker a priority this summer.
Malcom has had a limited impact at Barca, but is still regarded as a bright prospect.
The 22-year-old was one of the most exciting talents in France before making the switch to Spain and if he does join Everton Silva would be wanting to get him back to his very best.
