Tottenham Hotspur youngster signs new deal.

Mauricio Pochettino’s pose with players signing new deals at Tottenham has become a hallmark of each and every contract extension.

Yesterday one of real personal significance was signed.

The manager’s son Maurizio Pochettino penned a new deal, and posed with his dad for a picture which could soon hang in the hallways of their family home.

Maurizio Pochettino is part of Tottenham’s under-18 side, and featured in the club’s opening test event at the new stadium, a victory over Southampton’s youngsters.

Unlike his dad who was a centre-back, Maurizio is a winger. He turned 18 earlier this year.

He was born in Barcelona, and so could choose to represent Spain unlike the Tottenham boss who was an Argentina international.

Pochettino junior made one appearance for the under-23s last season along with playing for the under-18s and under-19s in the UEFA Youth League.
