Former Leeds United defender Sam Byram has joined Norwich City from West Ham United.
Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Sam Byram’s move from West Ham United to Norwich City in the summer transfer window.
Byram has joined Norwich from fellow Premier League club West Ham for a transfer fee reported by ITV to be worth £750,000.
The 25-year-old right-back started his professional club football career at Leeds and played for the West Yorkshire outfit until January 2016 when he switched to West Ham.

Much was expected of the Englishman when he arrived at the Hammers, but the defender failed to make an impact at the London Stadium and also had injury issues.
Byram spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Championship outfit Nottingham Forest, but injuries restricted the former Leeds star to just six appearances in the league for the Reds, according to WhoScored.
According to BBC Sport, the right-back was able to play only 36 matches for West Ham.

Say what you like but I would sooner have Luke Ayling in the Leeds team over Sam Byram any day of the week #lufc #mot

Why , nowt to do with us is it plus he wouldn’t get in at RB if that’s what you are thinking

I know we have Ayling but for £750k I’d have taken Byram back. Absolute snip. More effective right wing than Clark #lufc

feels like I’m stuck in 2014 and Cellino is still owner Byram going to Norwich #lufc

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side then, there might be a lesson for others there.

Price tag is irrelevant to Sam. Had he stayed here he’d have not played Premier League football yet. Imagine if we don’t and he choose to stay and never did play in the PL. I imagine that would be a big life regret.
