A guide to the date, time, and rewards for the first ever Harry Potter Wizards Unite Community Day spectacle.

Niantic recently announced on Twitter that they are launching their first ever Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community Day event on July 20, but witches and wizards across the globe reacted to the exciting news with venom due to knowing nothing more. Fortunately, the day’s date has now been elaborated on with information pertaining to the event’s time and rewards, meaning players no longer have to vent their frustrations by practicing real black magic.

However, before you learn all that we know so far about the historic Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community Day, you should first know how to find and defeat Werewolves as these mythical beasties will disappear in just two days.

Furthermore, you should also check out the dates and rewards for the upcoming Potter’s Calamity Brilliant Event.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community Day date and time

Because the people responsible for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite are cruel teases that would definitely be housed in Slytherin, all that was revealed about the Community Day event when it was first announced was that it will commence on July 20.

But, with said day fast approaching, they have now announced the window of opportunity for players to unlock its exclusive rewards; and those who also partake in Pokémon Go might be more than just a tad irate.

Much like the Community Day events for Pokémon Go, the anticipated occasion for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will only run for three hours.

The following times were provided by the Ministry of Magic over on Reddit:

  • Asian Pacific: 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. AEST (UTC +10)
  • Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India: 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC
  • The Americas and Greenland: 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PDT (UTC -7)

This is no doubt disappointing news for those who had hoped for the Community Day to be 24-hours long, but it was a sadly predictable conundrum for those who will be busy during the specific times.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community Day rewards

Now that you know the times and duration for the first ever Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community Day festivity, it’s now time to mention the rewards that will be provided for wasting your Saturday on your mobile phone.

On July 20 during the specific hours, Dark Detectors will last double the length of time when placed in Inns.

The Community Day spectacle will also boast a free store pack that includes 50 Spell Energy and a singular Barrufio’s Brain Elixir.

Using this Baruffio’s Brian Elixir will grant 3x XP, as well as an increase of Traces on the Map, with a higher chance of seeing Hogwarts School Traces.

In other Harry Potter: Wizards Unite content, here’s how to recharge spell energy without spending money.
