Sheffield Wednesday fans have been left fuming with Steve Bruce’s conduct, amid rumours that he could leave for Newcastle United.

The Sun have claimed that Newcastle are set to appoint Bruce as their new manager, as soon as they agree compensation for the experienced boss.

Bruce has only been with Wednesday for six months, but he quickly looks set to move on from Hillsborough.

And many Owls fans are raging with what Bruce has said about a potential move to Newcastle now.

“Out of respect, I thought it was only right that I go and talk to them,” Bruce said to The Sun.

“Thankfully the chairman gave me permission to go and have a conversation.”

The comments have not gone down at all well at Wednesday, as they feel he has lacking respect for their club.

Bruce actually did a very impressive job at Wednesday towards the back end of last campaign, but it seems that the Owls will be searching for a new manager now.

Newcastle fans do not appear satisfied by Bruce’s potential appointment, which means that the experienced boss will have a lot of doubters to win over at St. James’ Park, if he does make the move.
