Pawel Cibicki is back at Leeds United from his loan spell at Elfsborg.
The 25-year-old, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, spent the second half of last season on loan at Elfsborg.
Thelin told FotbollSkanalen when asked about Cibicki: “We have borrowed him until now and then we will see what happens in the future. Right now he belongs to Leeds. They decide.”
Leaving Leeds United
Thelin’s aforementioned comments suggest that he is open to bringing Cibicki back to Elfsborg, and the attacker should take the chance to leave Leeds.
The former Sweden Under-21 international has failed to make an impact at Leeds since he joined the Whites from Malmo FF in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £1.5 million.
It is clear that the attacker does not have any future at Leeds under head coach Marcelo Bielsa, and if Elfsborg are willing to have him back, then Cibicki should seriously consider that option.
