Could Bryan Mbeumo be the latest new forward on his way to Premier League outfit Southampton after Ralph Hasenhittl signed Che Adams and Moussa Djenepo?

Southampton have made an offer for Troyes striker Bryan Mbeumo, according to L’Equipe, as Ralph Hasenhuttl continues to rejuvenate his forward line.
It has certainly been a refreshing summer so far for Saints fans. The South Coast side have been rather toothless in attack since the heady days of Sadio Mane and Graziano Pelle but they are spending big to ensure goals won’t be in short supply during Hasenhuttl’s first full season at the helm.
Signing Danny Ings on a permanent basis looks like a great decision on paper, even if his injury record is concerning.
Meanwhile, in Che Adams and Moussa Djenepo, Southampton have signed a pair of young, explosive forwards – the kind of exciting, long-term additions the club used to make during the days of Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman.
And it seems like Mbeumo is the next on their list. A 19-year-old right-winger/centre-forward, the teenager scored 11 times for Troyes in Ligue 2 last season and L’Equipe claims that Southampton have made a bid.

It is not certain how much The Saints have offered but Troyes are apparently willing to accept £7 million with Borussia Monchengladbach, Strasbourg and Montpellier interested too.
After the arrivals of Adams and Djenepo, Hasenhuttl was keen to stress that this was the sort of signing he wanted on the South Coast – young, hungry players with plenty of potential. Mbeumo is another who ticks plenty of boxes.
