The Sun reported earlier this month that the former Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion striker, Saido Berahino, had been offered a chance to train with Birmingham City.

But according to the Daily Mail, he is now set to likewise with the Belgian side, Zulte Waregem.

The latter publications claims that Berahino has rejected offers from the United States, Russia, Italy and Turkey in order to do so, although there is no mention at all of Birmingham City.

The Daily Mail reports that Stoke are in the process of trying to terminate the 25-year-old's contract after he was found guilty of drink-driving.

It comes just two-and-a-half years after Stoke paid Birmingham's local rivals, West Brom, £12 million to sign him.

The Burundi international, who won caps for England at Under-21 level, only scored five goals in 56 games for Stoke, where he earned £80,000-a-week, according to Spotrac.
