Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal reportedly want William Saliba of Saint-Etienne.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the club have made a late bid for Arsenal target William Saliba.

Looks like a full blown Swoop in action being engineered by Spurs supermo Daniel Levy!— Shreyas Rao (@Spurs_Shreyas) July 13, 2019
Daniel Levy is ruthless. More of this please.— James R. Crawley (@jrcrawley) July 13, 2019
This is alright if comes true but is useless this season i would rather he focus on Dani Ceballos— Normal guy (@normalguy45) July 13, 2019
What perturbs me about this attempted last minute William Saliba hijack - Why did we wait so long to bid?— Chek (@Chektooshort) July 13, 2019
Either this is a reactionary move (which raises concerns about our transfer strategy), or we wanted to sell players first and cannot - and our hand was forced#thfc #coys
Even if he signs for them now, we've had 24 hours of great enjoyment!— Studebacher Hoch (@ChrisRo48592912) July 13, 2019
Champions League or Europa League. Glory or Misery. Tough choice...— James R. Crawley (@jrcrawley) July 13, 2019
Even if we don’t sign Saliba, the fact we are trying to hijack Arsenal’s deal shows just how far weve come. Watching their fans go into meltdown over this is quite something, terrified he’s got a better offer from a better team. The reality must be hard to take #THFC— Manoamano (@Manoama89203646) July 12, 2019

That sounds like Levy— Blake L (@BlakeL206) July 13, 2019
its not strange at all. Levy has let Arsenal do all the negotiating for us, while we concentrated on others. now he can swoop in knowing what their offer is, and better it. must also already know the player would prefer us.— dave harris (@daveyh84) July 12, 2019
Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur?
Tottenham have established themselves as a top-four club in the Premier League, and the North London outfit also reached the final of the Champions League last season.
Arsenal have not been in the Champions League for two successive seasons, and the Gunners could struggle to get back into the top four for a while.
Spurs are a club on the up, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will probably be more appealing to Saliba at this moment in time.
