Ivan Cavaleiro has joined Fulham on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.

Fulham Director Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his club signing Ivan Cavaleiro from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Cottagers – who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League – have signed Cavaleiro from Wolves in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, has moved to Fulham on a season-long deal.

Fulham Director Khan has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the London club securing the services of Cavaleiro.

Khan has revealed that the Portugal international has been a target for the Fulham for years.

Cavaleiro joined Wolves from AS Monaco in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £7 million.

The winger made 17 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Championship for Wolves in 2016-17, scoring five goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2017-18 campaign, former Benfica winger made 31 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Championship for the Wanderers, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
