A number of Cardiff City fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that Kadeem Harris has joined Sheffield Wednesday (official Owls website).

The 26-year-old had been with the Bluebirds since 2012, helping them win promotion to the Premier League in 2018 and playing 13 times in the top flight last season - 15 in all competitions - scoring once (Transfermarkt).

Despite his ability and good status among the fanbase, Harris was released by the club last month, much to the chagrin of numerous Cardiff fans, who made their feelings known when the club published its retained list on its channels.

Harris has now linked up with the Owls - though the contract length is unspecified - and will get the opportunity to line up against his former side, the two being in the same division and locking horns on 19 October in the Welsh capital and on 29 December at Hillsborough.

Here is what some Bluebirds supporters made of their former player linking up with the Owls:

Harris began his career with Wycombe Wanderers and has also had loan spells with Barnsley and Brentford, and becomes the Owls' third summer signing, following in the footsteps of Julian Borner and Moses Odubajo.
