Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with the highly rated 18-year-old defender.
Wolverhampton Wanderers could face a fight on their hands for Benoit Badiashile's services as Valencia have thrown their name in the hat, while Manchester United have renewed their interest in the Monaco defender, according to reports.
French outlet L'Equipe claims that the La Liga outfit have made a formal enquiry for the highly rated 18-year-old, though they have not yet made an opening bid, while United have positioned themselves to move for a player they they've been monitoring for the last few years.
The report claims that Wolves have informed Monaco that they would like to make a loan offer with an option to buy, Badiashile reportedly rated at 35 million Euros (around £31.5million), while Leonardo Jardim is believed to have made no guarantees over the game time he is likely to get next term at the Stade Louis II.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Manchester City were also all rumoured to be interested in Badiashile - contracted to Monaco until 2021 according to Transfermarkt - back in 2018, before Badiashile had even made his debut for the club in the French top flight, according to Foot Mercato.
The powerful centre-back made 20 Ligue 1 appearances for the Monegasque club last season, a difficult campaign which very nearly culminated in relegation from the French top flight as Jardim left the club, Thierry Henry was brought in, and was then subsequently sacked as Jardim then came back.
With Badiashile having made such progress and shown he can cut it at the top level despite his young age and the issues which beset Monaco last term, it is little surprise that there is reported interest in his services from the Premier League and La Liga.
