Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to praise the relationship between the Liverpool players and manager Jurgen Klopp.
The former England international striker made the comments on Twitter in response to a post from Liverpool regarding pre-season training.
The former Tottenham and Everton striker believes that the warmth between the Liverpool players and Klopp is “genuine”.
Love the genuine warmth the players have with Jürgen Klopp. Management in football has changed, and for the better. https://t.co/Bm9fGWJlm2— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) July 13, 2019
Klopp is one of the best managers in the world, and what is great about him is that he seems so close to his players.
The Liverpool boss is a brilliant man-manager, and the Reds have progressed as a club and on the pitch under the German.
Premier League challenge
Liverpool won the Champions League last season, and during the 2019-20 campaign, Klopp will want his team to challenge for the Premier League title as well.
The Merseyside outfit narrowly missed out on the league title last season, but the Reds are good and strong enough to give Manchester City another run for their money in 2019-20.
