The 21-year-old hasn't played for Celtic since October.
The 21-year-old hasn't kicked a ball for the Hoops since October after suffering a season-ending knee injury.
Updates on the Celtic man have been few and far between since, with the Ivorian becoming something of a forgotten man at Parkhead.
But, according to The Scottish Sun, Kouassi is back in light training and will return in a full capacity next week.
It's a big boost for Celtic.
Kouassi, who cost £3 million [The Scottish Sun], has been a bit of a flop since moving to Glasgow in January of 2017.
If you added up his minutes in the Scottish Premiership, they equate to just 6.7 full games since arriving two-and-a-half years ago.
But interestingly, Neil Lennon was a midfielder and it'll be interesting to see if the Northern Irishman can help Kouassi in ways that Brendan Rodgers couldn't, by way of coaching.
The talent is there with Kouassi, once tipped by Rodgers to be Scott Brown's long-term successor, but he needs the guidance and maybe the new Bhoys boss can be that man.
