The Minecraft Earth beta will release this summer and you'll definitely want to sign up for its beta to start building outlandish creations.
Because Harry Potter: Wizards Unite clearly wasn't enough, the future of video games is nothing but Pokémon Go as evidenced by the upcoming Minecraft Earth. For those who are actually excited about playing another emulation of Ninatic's mobile hit, below you'll find out everything you need to know about when it will release and how to sign up for its beta.
When will Minecraft Earth release?
Back in May, Microsoft announced their very own augmented reality mobile game, Minecraft Earth. From the use of "augmented reality" alone, you can probably already guess how it works.
Through burning off calories by walking about the grey skied wilderness outside your bedroom window, you can gather resources and complete a varied range of challenges.
In addition, you can also battle Minecraft mobs such as muddy pigs, as well team up with mates to build things on flat surfaces.
So, if you've ever wanted to see your town through Minecraft tinted glasses, then Minecraft Earth is definitely for you.
As for when it'll release, the beta is expected to launch within the next two weeks on iOS, with Android following shortly after.
How to sign up for Minecraft Earth Beta
In order to be one of the first players ruining beautiful parks with blocky Minecraft creations, you'll need at least an iOS 10 or Android 7.
Not only that, but you'll also need a Microsoft or Xbox Live account to register.
Provided you have all of the above, you then need to simply click here and apply.
If you manage to be one of the lucky Beta participants, you'll want to continually play the game to avoid being kicked out of the exclusive Minecraft club. For if you don't build something for seven days, someone else will take your slot.
