Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe has emerged as a transfer target for two more clubs, according to a Sky Sports report, while another is said to be out of the running for his signature.

Premier League duo Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace are believed to be interested in the Whites hitman, who scored 15 Championship goals in 28 starts for Marcelo Bielsa's side last season.

Roofe, who has just one year left on his contract at Leeds, is also thought to interest a number of Championship sides, which the Sky Sports report has not named, while Scottish Premiership side Rangers were also believed to be in the running.

Regarding the Ibrox links, however, BBC Sports broadcaster Adam Pope has recently taken to Twitter to suggest that no more will be happening on that front as an agent "purporting to be representing Roofe" launched the launch and dialogue.

Roofe, a West Bromwich Albion academy graduate, joined Leeds in the 2016 summer transfer window from Oxford United, having won the League Two Player of the Year award, and has scored 33 goals in 122 appearances since making the switch to Elland Road.
