Liverpool fans have praised Glasgow Rangers target Ryan Kent’s performance for them in pre-season.
Jurgen Klopp handed Kent a chance to impress against Tranmere yesterday, and the winger took his opportunity to impress upon his return from Rangers.
Kent spent last season on loan at Ibrox and quickly become a fans’ favourite for Steven Gerrard’s side.
Rangers now want to sign Kent again, but Klopp seems to be taking a close look at the Liverpool attacker this summer.
And Liverpool fans were certainly impressed with Kent’s display in their 6-0 win over Tranmere Rovers, which may not be good news for Rangers fans.
Everyone's talking about Brewster but I liked Wilson's and Kent's performances more.— Sid Dhal (@siddhant_dhal) July 12, 2019
Yeah so happy to see boyz to men like Origi . Hope Ryan Kent stay and play more frequently on the left side— Red Dynasty (@YNWA_Sgp) July 12, 2019
I don't know why but I still slightly hope that we keep Ryan Kent and nurture him to his full potential. He can use both feet, take set pieces and is really dangerous with his pace up front. Klopp can surely get the best out of him if he can give Moreno so long to improve. #LFC pic.twitter.com/ioxEyWMEmU— FantasticFirmino9 (@MPBFirmino9) July 11, 2019
Larouci looked decent, Kent looked good (usually does most pre seasons) .. Milner looked like a man against infants.— lami (@Lami_1988) July 11, 2019
Hard worker, good dribbler, but that was it. I didn’t really see anything special tbh— Josh (@ftbljosh) July 11, 2019
Looked better than wilson.— Tuukka (@tuukkarsn17) July 11, 2019
Good - very sharp. Will be interesting to see how he performs in the next upcoming games— The Anfield Buzz (@anfield_buzz) July 11, 2019
He’s Fantastic Today— ∕̴ƖвDυ̲̣̥Llɑ̤̈̊▐▬▌ (@Abdula_Alfadhli) July 11, 2019
Gerrard has also made no secret of his desire to see Kent back at Ibrox.
However, if the youngster keeps putting in performance of a high quality over pre-season, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that he could be kept at Liverpool for next term.
