As announced on the Gunners’ official website, the 33-year-old central defender has refused to be part of Unai Emery’s squad for their pre-season trip to the US.
The Englishman, though, does not think that the defender will move to Crystal Palace as part of a deal to sign former Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.
According to The Sun (print edition, page 50, July 11, 2019), Arsenal are interested in securing the services of the Ivory Coast international this summer and are ready to offer Calum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny and Carl Jenkinson as part of the deal (click here to read more).
Zaha is one of the best wingers in the Premier League, and the former United man would be a very good signing for Arsenal.
@Arsenal it is time to flex your muscles and put Koscielny in his place. No player is ever bigger than the club and the fact he’s been our captain is an absolute disgrace not wanting to go on the pre season tour. Fine him heavily and sell him! Good riddance— Kevin Campbell (@1kevincampbell) July 11, 2019
The fact he’s trying to force a move @TurkishLDN speaks volumes after being the captain of our great club! It’s a disgrace! It’s like the armband means nothing to him which for a fan and former player makes me sick and I have to dig him out!— Kevin Campbell (@1kevincampbell) July 11, 2019
This is a power move by Kos and it’s a disgrace! Sell him immediately or ASAP!!!— Kevin Campbell (@1kevincampbell) July 11, 2019
No way just sell him! The @Arsenal must always take the higher ground and never stoop so low!!!— Kevin Campbell (@1kevincampbell) July 11, 2019
Unfortunately he will not want to go there and that will break any deal! Sell him and good riddance!!!— Kevin Campbell (@1kevincampbell) July 11, 2019
Being captain of the @Arsenal means nothing to him so get rid sharpish! Legacy tarnished forever— Kevin Campbell (@1kevincampbell) July 11, 2019
