West Ham United fans have responded to Maxi Gomez’s latest tweet, as he appears to be on the verge of a move to Valencia.
Gomez tweeted of a picture of himself at the airport yesterday, and West Ham fans were frustrated at seemingly missing out on one of Manuel Pellegrini’s top targets.

Although reports have suggested that West Ham are still hopeful of changing Gomez’s mind, and his move to Valencia has not been officially confirmed, it would be a huge shock it he did arrive at the London Stadium now.
Gomez’s mind seems to have been made up, and he appears to have picked Valencia.
If Gomez does look elsewhere West Ham are likely to have to search for another striker, as their options up-front look short.
West Ham have sold Marko Arnautovic and released Andy Carroll this summer, with a new number nine now high up on their wishlist.
