Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Real Betis ace.
According to a report from Spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo, Tottenham have already agreed personal terms in principle with Real Betis ace Giovani Lo Celso.
Spurs have been chasing the Argentina international all summer, but the problem is that they are struggling to meet the La Liga outfit's valuation of the 23-year-old.
Estadio Deportivo claims that Betis are demanding €70 million (£63 million) for Lo Celso - a fee that Tottenham are still not close to matching.
Spurs will have a big decision to make this summer.
If they decide to move Christian Eriksen on, then signing someone like Lo Celso will be vitally important to their hopes of challenging for major honours.
And £63 million really isn't a bad price for someone of the Argentine's calibre.
The 23-year-old's guile, creativity and invention will be exactly what Tottenham need if Eriksen leaves, and he could form a formidable partnership with Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks in Spurs' midfield.
As things stand, however, it seems as though Tottenham will just have to pay up the required £63 million if they want to get their man, in spite of the fact that they have already reportedly agreed personal terms with the player himself.
