Patrick Bamford and Leeds were back in action in a friendly against York City.
Leeds won 5-0, although Bamford was not on the scoresheet.
Bamford had an injury hit first season at Leeds and missed a crucial play-off game due to suspension. Upon his return he did not make the desired impact.
This has left the former Chelsea striker under pressure.
Leeds fans on social media have been backing Bamford, voicing their upset at hearing the striker being booed by some supporters against York City.
Bamford needs confidence, and hearing jeers will not help him.
As one of Leeds' most expensive signings over the past decade, there are high hopes for Bamford.
With a full season, he could be a big asset for the club.
Here is a look at how Leeds fans showed him some support on Twitter...

@Patrick_Bamford Don’t listen to those idiots from last night, they are not proper #LUFC fans and probably never played the game in their lives! Thought you was fantastic myself! Chin up and keep going!— Alex (@ASWilcockson) July 11, 2019
First pre season friendly done and all I'm seeing is people slating bamford, our fanbase is an actual joke #lufc— Ant (@AntVeress) July 11, 2019
Seriously give @Patrick_Bamford a break.. The guy was injured for the best part of last season.. I for one have faith in him but if so called fans keep throwing abuse then confidence will be wrecked...Grow up and support the team you all claim to love!!! #lufc #mot #alaw— Delfy (@DelfinaVillano) July 10, 2019
@Patrick_Bamford I wasn't there last night, but reading plenty of comments of you getting some stick. Ignore the arseholes, and rise above it. You've got this. There's more of us believe in, you that don't. Good luck for the season #Wankers #MOT #LUFC— ⚽️ (@LeedsUnited2019) July 11, 2019
Despite the thoughts of a small number of so called fans last night, I thought Patrick Bamford looked very sharp. Unlucky not score and I thought his link up play was very good. F@@k the haters! #LUFC #MOT #SupportTheTeam— Julian Howarth (@JulianHowarth1) July 11, 2019
