Sheyi Ojo looks to be hitting the ground running at Rangers.
The Gers signed the 22-year-old winger on loan from Liverpool last month.
And the youngster has shone for Rangers so far. He scored in a pre-season friendly win over Oxford last weekend, before finding the net on his competitive debut in Tuesday's Europa League qualifying win away to St Joseph's in Gibraltar.
It was a beautiful, caressed finish from Ojo and here's how fans of the Anfield club reacted to his strike last night:
Only pre season but another goal for Ojo. Seems perfect for Rangers https://t.co/FT8TEDfEbl— Ben Turner (@BenLfc18) July 9, 2019
Ojo is a serious, SERIOUS baller. It’s a shame he has no space at this club man.— Akash #6 (@Akash_LFC) July 9, 2019
Good to see the mighty Gers are off to a flyer, reckon Ojo will reach the heights of Ryan Kent this season.— Backseatsman (@BackseatsmanLFC) July 9, 2019
Ojo just scored a belter for Rangers. #lfc. Could be decent— Simon Johnston (@jontylad) July 9, 2019
Imagine if Rangers do get Ryan Kent back on loan, him and Ojo on the wings— Ben Turner (@BenLfc18) July 9, 2019
It'll be interesting to see how Daniel Candeias responds to the fight for a spot on Steven Gerrard's right wing.
The Portuguese star has never really had major competition for his place because, for some reason, the Ibrox outfit have way more left-sided attackers than right-sided ones.
But the gauntlet has certainly been thrown down to Candeias, and the bad news for him is that the Liverpool product is only going to get better.
