The Villa Park cult hero has joined the City Ground outfit, who will be aiming for promotion from the Championship this term.
The 31-year-old winger has signed a two-year contract at the City Ground and has joined Sabri Lamouchi’s squad ahead of the pre-season trip to Greece later this week.
Adomah was released by the Villa Park outfit at the end of a the 2018-19 season, a hugely successful campaign in which they finished in the Championship's top six and then won the playoffs.
The Ghanaian joined Villa in 2016 from Middlesbrough and made 125 appearances for them, including 24 league starts last term (Transfermarkt), and is the second club he helped to promotion along with Boro.
Despite having left the Villans, Adomah retains a place in the hearts of many of their fans, and following confirmation of his move across the Midlands, some took to social media to wish him all the best as well as telling their Reds counterparts that they have a great player on their books.
