Diario Sevilla has reported that Tottenham Hotspur have told Giovani Lo Celso that they would treble his salary if he moves to North London.

The Real Betis playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs and, according to the same publication, he wants to work with manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Lo Celso is on holiday now after representing Argentina in the Copa America and, with a month left in the English transfer window, time is an issue for Tottenham.

Nevertheless, there is certainly a big incentive to join Pochettino's side, as Diario Sevilla report that the Lilywhites would treble his wages if he moves.

The quicker this one is wrapped up, the better. Tottenham have already signed Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, who has re-signed for Leeds United on a season-long loan.

But the North Londoners need to get Lo Celso over the line so that they can concentrate on other potential signings, with Dani Ceballos and Ryan Sessegnon also linked with a move to Pochettino's team.

Paris Saint-Germain will receive 20% of whatever Tottenham wind up paying for Lo Celso, who only joined the Spanish club on a permanent basis a few months ago after being loaned by PSG originally
