Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has taken to Twitter to congratulate his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Ryan Mason on his new role at the North London outfit.
The 28-year-old former midfielder was on the books of Spurs from 1999 until 2016, and retired from his professional playing career in February 2018.

Next season’s challenge
Tottenham finished in the top four of the Premier League last season and also progressed to the final of the Champions League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be aiming to do something similar during the 2019-20 campaign.
Tottenham have signed Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon in the summer transfer window, and have also secured the services of Jack Clarke from Leeds United and have sent him back to the Championship club on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
