Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sell the USA international.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is a forgotten man at Tottenham Hotspur.
It doesn't seem that long ago that he was tipped for big things under Mauricio Pochettino, who sung his praises back in 2017.
The Tottenham boss alluded to the centre-back's freakish strength when he was a teenager over two years ago.
He told The Telegraph about a time he joined in the training session: "I did it today again. I challenged with Cameron and hurt my hand. He crushed everyone in the box."
Those comments were made in March 2017 and a new report from The Daily Mail claims that the Argentine boss is willing to sell the 21-year-old, among various others.
The writing has been on the wall for a while. Carter-Vickers hasn't kicked a ball for Tottenham in a competitive game for two and a half years now.
Juan Foyth has leapfrogged him in a big way, to the point where the USA international, who has eight caps, is now behind Foyth, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in the pecking order.
He turns 22 in December and Carter-Vickers - who spent time with Ipswich Town and Swansea City on loan in recent years - should probably accept the chance to move on for the sake of his career.
