According to a report from French media outlet RMC Sport, signing Lille winger Nicolas Pepe is Liverpool's priority this summer.

The 24-year-old was in quite simply sensational form in France last season, racking up 23 goals and 12 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

And the Ivory Coast international really would be a superb addition for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp needs more competition for places in attack, especially after Daniel Sturridge left Anfield on a free this summer, and Pepe would be just the ticket for the Reds.

RMC Sport claims that Liverpool have made it their priority to sign the Lille ace this summer.

ESPN claims that Pepe is valued at around £60 million, and the Merseyside outfit certainly have the funds to tempt Lille into selling their star man.
