Everton are interested in signing Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has ordered the club to look into the possibility of landing former Chelsea striker Costa.

Moshiri reportedly wants to make a statement signing in the summer transfer window and has identified the 30-year-old striker as a potential transfer target.

The report has also claimed that the Spain international striker almost joined Everton back in 2017.
