Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have sent Ross McCrorie out on loan.

Oli McBurnie has sent Ross McCrorie a good luck message after leaving Rangers on loan.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard has sent the academy prospect to Portsmouth for the 2019-20 campaign.


According to The Record, the English side could have the option to sign the versatile youngster on a permanent basis next summer in a decision that has Rangers fans fuming.

McBurnie has never played for Rangers, but he is a diehard fan of the Ibrox club.

It is a big risk by Gerrard if he has included an option to buy. McCrorie is only 21 and obviously could get a hell of a lot better in the coming years.

He is one of the light Blues' most exciting youth prospects of the past decade and to potentially lose him next summer, nevermind for what'll be a minimal transfer fee, is definitely going to sting.
