The Tottenham Hotspur star has just 12 months remaining on his current contract.

According to a report from the London Evening Standard, Christian Eriksen can expect to earn in excess of £150,000 per week if a signs a new contract with Tottenham.

The Spurs ace, 27, has just one year remaining on his current deal with the north London outfit, and he has been heavily linked with an exit this summer.

According to the Sun, Erisken has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Real Madrid, but as things stand, he remains very much a Tottenham player.

Spurs have already spent big this summer, bringing in Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon and Jack Clarke from Leeds United, but whether they will sell the Denmark international to fund further moves remains to be seen.

The London Evening Standard claims that he could still stay in north London, however, with Tottenham chiefs prepared to offer him a new contract worth in excess of £150,000 per week.

Whether that will be enough to tempt him to stay at Spurs, however, or indeed whether the club actually want to keep him rather than selling him for a lucrative fee, remains to be seen.
