Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Frenchman this summer.

According to a report from 90 min, Liverpool have the funds to buy Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele this summer, should Jurgen Klopp wish to bring the Frenchman to Anfield.

The 22-year-old joined Barca from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017, for an initial fee believed to be worth £96.8m, according to BBC Sport, but he has struggled to establish himself at the Camp Nou.

Dembele still has so much to give, however, and he would be a quite simply brilliant signing for Liverpool.

According to French publication L’Equipe, the Reds have shown interest in signing the France international this summer, but they are still yet to make a bid for his services.

And now 90 min claims that Klopp is free to sign Dembele if he so wishes, with the Liverpool board prepared to back the German to the hilt in the transfer market this summer.

And should Liverpool sign Dembele, they really would have a frightening attacking line-up.

Whether Klopp feels as though he needs the Barca ace at Anfield, however, remains to be seen.
