Spider-Man: Far From Home is already upon us and looks set to expand Spidey’s wardrobe of suits more than any other film

The MCU began with Tony Stark, and although the legacy of the character lives on in his allies, there is arguably more of him in Peter Parker than any other.

The on-screen relationship between Iron Man and Spider-Man was akin to father and son; it was wonderful to watch, and now for the first time, we see the young man going it alone. However, that’s not strictly true as Peter has some help from his late mentor even after his tragic passing in Avengers: Endgame… we’re still not over that, sniff.

Peter Parker was able to keep hold of the incredibly gorgeous and super shiny Iron Spider suit. However, to our surprise, the Iron Spider suit gets left in the wardrobe in favour of a new look or two for Spider-Man.

The new classic

Although there’s one suit, in particular, we were excited to see in action, there are a number of new Spidey outfits we were given to marvel upon in Far From Home.

Obviously, we see the return of the now-iconic suit from Spider-Man: Homecoming, courtesy of the caring Tony Stark. It’s the attire we’ve grown to know and love, which features the classic red and blue colour scheme.

But Spider-Man: Far From Home gives us a slightly new take on the classic Spidey suit towards the end of the film for Peter Parker’s heroic final confrontation with the Elementals and Mysterio.

As mentioned, we also see the Iron Spider suit during the film, but it’s left in the wardrobe in favour of Spidey’s new look costumes that certainly steal the spotlight including one we absolutely loved to see…

Stealth suit

It’s here! Doesn’t it look great?

We’ve seen a glimpse of the stealth suit in promotional material surrounding the film, but we expect the best is yet to come. Seeing the suit in action during Spider-Man: Far From Home will certainly be a real delight for both long-term and emerging fans of the iconic web-slinger.

Its slick, cat burglar-like appearance is cool, but for fans, it stems back to the comics, of course.

According to Spider-Man Wiki, the stealth suit first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #650 and is also referred to as the Big Time Costume. We haven’t seen it like this before, but the stylistic influence is a welcome nod to those in the know.

Sneaking into cinemas on…

Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Far From Home swung its way into cinemas on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019; an early week treat for us avid Marvel fans.
