Youssouf Mulumbu has suggested that he wants to return to West Bromwich Albion following his release from Celtic.

Mulumbu was only let go by Celtic earlier this week, but he has quickly set his sights on a return to West Brom.

Last night one Baggies fans suggested that they wanted Mulumbu back at the Hawthorns.

And the midfielder suggested that a return to West Brom would very much interest him.

Mulumbu is still very popular at West Brom after he spent six years there previously between 2009 and 2015.

Whether Slaven Bilic will now consider the experienced midfielder remains to be seen.

Mulumbu’s spell at Celtic was poor, but he has still proven to be a good option in Scottish football previously.

West Brom are looking to make new additions this summer, as Bilic gets to work with improving his squad.
