Brentford defender Ezri Konsa is reportedly on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ radar.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Ezri Konsa from Brentford in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.

It has been reported that Wolves are set to secure the services of Konsa for £12 million.

 

Good signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers?

Konsa has been on the books of Brentford since the summer of 2018 when he joined from Charlton Athletic for a transfer fee reported by The Times to be worth £2.5 million.

According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old defender made 42 appearances in the Championship for Brentford last season, scoring one goal in the process.

The England Under-21 international is one of the best young defenders in the Championship, and he certainly has the potential to succeed in the Premier League.

Wolves are a massive club and are highly ambitious, and joining the Wanderers will give Konsa the platform he needs to perform at a big stage.

Konsa could establish himself as an important player for the Wanderers in the next one or two years if he signs this summer.
