Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are mocking Scott Allan on Twitter.
Scott Allan’s controversial comments haven’t gone down well with Celtic or Rangers fans it seems.
The 27-year-old finally left the Hoops this summer and made headlines on Friday after complaining about the treatment he received during a four-year stint at Parkhead [Glasgow Evening Times].
Allan, a boyhood Rangers fan, only made 13 Premiership appearances for Celtic, and hadn’t made a match-day squad for a senior outing since last July.
The Scotland Under-21 international looked set to move to Ibrox in 2015, though Hibernian, whom he re-joined this week, blocked the transfer and Ronny Deila wound up taking him to Lennoxtown instead.
Nevertheless, there is a lingering animosity among Gers fans over the belief that Allan chose Celtic ahead of them way back when.
And suffice to say that fans of both Old Firm clubs have found common ground in slating the midfielder.

They had no intention of ever making you one of their own, they used you to get at us, and your greed or agents greed backfired, you reap what you sow— Ian (@yanster57) June 28, 2019

It was all done for spite, nothing else. He had a choice, but decided the wrong thing. It’s his own fault, and I for one have no sympathy. ⚪️— Andrew S Murray (@drusincmur) June 29, 2019
Celtic never really wanted you. It was their Mojo attempt. Failed spectacularly. Enjoy more mediocrity back at hibs.— Colin (@55blueballoons) June 29, 2019

Don't blame the lad for sitting on his decent wage till it ran out but he had plenty opportunities to leave for football and never took it, so don't moan about not getting any game time.— SM (@Mooresy1967) June 28, 2019
He could have left and played. He stayed for cash.— Ged Cairns (@GedCairns) June 28, 2019
Allan officially re-signed for Hibs in January, while Neil Lennon was at Easter Road, but he only arrived this week.
