Tottenham Hotspur could be very busy in the transfer market this summer.

Tottenham fans will be incredibly excited ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign, with Mauricio Pochettino seemingly set to spend big this summer.

Lyon ace Tanguy Ndombele remains a priority target for Spurs, according to the Sun, whilst the Telegraph claims that Pochettino is also tracking Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.

And if Tottenham manage to sign both players, they could very well have the best central midfield line up in Europe.

Ndombele, 22, is a tenacious, ball-winning central midfielder, whilst Van de Beek, also 22, is more of a ball-playing midfielder.

The Frenchman’s skill-set compliments the Dutchman’s strengths perfectly.

Then there is Harry Winks.

The Tottenham star is incredibly comfortable in possession and possesses exceptional technical ability.

The Englishman can dictate the tempo of the game, whilst Van de Beek is renowned for carrying the ball into the final third, and making well-timed runs into the opposition’s penally box.

Ndombele, meanwhile, would be able to sit in front of the back four, breaking up the opposition’s play.

Should Pochettino opt to play with three central midfielders, Ndombele, Van de Beek and Winks really would be a sensational trio, but whether Daniel Levy will be prepared to sanction deals for both the Lyon star and the Ajax ace remains to be seen.
