The Game Critics Awards for E3 2019 show that The Outer Worlds beat Keanu Reeves’ John Wick Hex.
E3 2019 has come and gone, and the event was a pretty lacklustre affair saved only by the incredible reveal of Keanu Reeves for Cyberpunk 2077. However, despite being a bore especially for all us United Kingdom citizens who had to ditch sleep, the Game Critics Awards have highlighted the supposed “best” games that were present. And Obsidian’s Fallout New Vegas successor, The Outer Worlds, beat John Wick Hex in one of the many categories.
The Game Critics Awards are the result of more than 50 media and influencer outlets who voted for 48 products across multiple categories including Best Original, Action, and Console games, as well as best showing.
Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t crowned best showing despite it having been the most talked about game on the internet, but this wasn’t because of the hoopla surrounding a thematically purposeful poster that offended people. Instead, Cyberpunk 2077 and the Avengers didn’t win any of the more coveted categories due to not being playable at the event for more than five minutes.

Cyberpunk 2077
In other gaming news, the “minimum” file size for Cyberpunk 2077 is almost as large as Red Dead Redemption 2, and update 1.94 for Minecraft on the PS4 fixes the game’s collaboration with Toy Story and the once believed to be bisexual Woody.
