Wolverhampton Wanderers fans react on Twitter as team begins pre-season

The Wolves Twitter feed kept Molineux fans updated ahead of a big season in the Premier League, domestic cups and Europa League.

A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the team's return to training, in particular a clip in which Willy Boly and Helder Costa have a bit of a mess about.

Following last season's impressive Premier League seventh-placed finish and FA Cup semi-final run, Nuno Espirito Santo's charges have reported for pre-season training ahead of a busy campaign which will see Wolves compete on four fronts.

 

As well as the league, the League Cup and the FA Cup, Wanderers will be taking part in European competition for the first time since 1980, with either Crusaders of Northern Ireland or B36 Torshavn of the Faroe Islands awaiting in the second qualifying round of the Europa League (official Wolves website).

With Wolves fans having experienced a superb campaign last time out, excitement is high for 2019-20 and some of the Old Gold faithful had their say:

Costa, who first arrived at Molineux in 2016 from Benfica, is widely reported to be on Leeds United's radar (Leeds Live) and is thought to be high on Marcelo Bielsa's transfer shortlist.
