Toy Story 4 may have divided fans on its necessity but that quickly changed when the film hit cinemas. But when can fans watch it at home?
The fourth instalment in the now 24-year-old franchise is a welcome addition to the series. Despite early concerns about the necessity of Toy Story 4, Pixar have pulled off yet another cinematic miracle and given us another joyous spectacle to enjoy.
What's Toy Story 4 all about?
Toy Story 4 continues the long-running tale of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and our favourite gang of toys.
We last saw Woody and co. in 2010's Toy Story 3 as they were passed on from Andy to their new owner Bonnie.
It is there where the new story picks up the threads.
On her first day of Kindergarten, Bonnie makes herself a new toy to cope with the stresses of the new environment, that new toy is Forky.
However, as he was built using pieces of rubbish essentially, Forky considers himself to be trash and does all he can to get thrown out.
It is up to Woody to keep Bonnie's new toy from throwing himself away.
The film also reintroduces Bo Peep, who was absent from Toy Story 3, which poses an even bigger question for Woody.
When is Toy Story 4 out on DVD and Blu-Ray?
Toy Story 4's DVD and Blu-Ray release date has finally been confirmed after months of waiting.
Fans of the long-running Pixar franchise will be able to own Toy Story 4 when it hits store shelves on October 21st, 2019.
When it released in cinemas earlier this year, Toy Story 4 earned a whopping one billion dollars making it the second-highest earning film in the Toy Story franchise after 2010's third instalment earned just a few million more.
Disney will no doubt be hoping that the home release can add a few million more into the coffers.
In the meantime, Toy Story 4 is currently showing at cinemas across the UK after releasing on June 21st, 2019.
