Tottenham fans convinced duo will create Premier League's best midfield

Tottenham Hotspur are getting closer to wrapping up a transfer deal for Tanguy Ndombele.

The Telegraph report the France international midfielder is nearing a £55 million move. Sky Sports claim a £65 million move has been agreed.

Get France Football News is a bit more cautious, insisting a move has not quite been agreed.


It certainly seems though that Spurs are getting closer to landing the Lyon midfielder.

And fans are excited about his potential partnership with key man Moussa Sissoko.

Sissoko moved to Spurs for £30 million three seasons ago and is coming off the back of his best season yet for the club.

Pairing the French midfielders together will make Tottenham even harder to beat, with Ndombele's performances for Lyon last season winning rave reviews.

Ndombele is 22 and Sissoko 29, and bringing the Lyon man in will help the current Spurs fan favourite out a lot.
