Tottenham Hotspur appear to be closing in on a deal to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon.

Spurs’s current highest earner is Harry Kane, and Ndombele is set to come in on a similar deal.
The French midfielder appears to be very close to a move to White Hart Lane now, with only the final details left to be sorted.
Tottenham’s contract offer shows just how highly Mauricio Pochettino rates the 22-year-old, who is set to have a crucial role to play at White Hart Lane.
It does mean that Spurs may have to offer pay rises to some of their key players in future though.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli are all surely in good positions to ask for high wages if Ndombele does come in on a salary higher than they are currently on.
Spurs have not made a signing for over 18 months now, but the addition of Ndombele would be a fine way to announce that they are back in the market for new additions again.
