Marcelo Bielsa likes to give players time to adapt at Leeds United, and three new players could spend nearly the entire pre-season with the Whites now.

Leeds United appear to be working very efficiently in the transfer market, as it seems that three transfer deals are edging closer to completion.

HITC have reported how Ben White and Helder Costa have both hinted on Instagram that a move to Leeds is on the verge of going through, while Leeds Live claim that Jack Harrison will arrive for a second stint soon.

Leeds are yet to formally announce a signing this summer, but it does seem as if they have managed to almost secure deals for the trio.

And if Leeds can make the signings soon then Victor Orta has done some excellent work.

The importance of Leeds getting their transfer business done early cannot be stressed enough.

Marcelo Bielsa’s methods are so demanding that any new signings simply must have time to adapt.

And if Leeds can get Costa, White and Harrison to arrive soon then it will give them the best chance of breaking into their first-team line-up for the start of the season.

Granted, Harrison probably needs less time than Costa and White to adapt, as he spent last season at Leeds.

However, the two fresh faces will almost certainly need a few weeks to acclimatise to their new boss’s methods.

Last season, Barry Douglas was the only one of Leeds’ new signings who came in and immediately went into their starting team.

Bielsa almost always allows new signings a few weeks to settle before putting his faith in them.

But by working quickly, Victor Orta may have done enough to give Bielsa the option of picking some of his potential new additions on the first day of the new campaign.
