Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Tanguy Ndombele, with Danny Rose finally getting his wish.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose will surely be desperate to stay now, as he appears to have finally got his wish.

Rose made headlines two years ago when he suggested to the Telegraph that Tottenham needed to make signings that he didn’t need to Google.

Spurs had previously had a tendency to shop for up-and-coming stars, rather than already established players.

However, Tottenham appear to be heading into a new era, as they are set to break their transfer record.

Sky Sports have reported how Tottenham have now agreed a fee for Ndombele, with the midfielder set to arrive.

Rose will surely have heard of Ndombele before, as he is one of the finest midfielders in all of Europe.

The left-back must be impressed by the transfer move, as it is exactly what he has been urging Tottenham to do.

Rose suggested to the London Evening Standard earlier this summer that his future was uncertain, as the club likes to move on older players.

However, the left-back will surely be desperate to stay at White Hart Lane now, just as he seems to have got his wish.
