Leeds United are yet to make their move in the transfer market.

Leeds United have been linked with a couple of outlandish moves over the past few days.

First came the shock links with Gianluigi Buffon, The Mail reported, before Goal claimed Leeds could look to tempt Francesco Totti out of retirement.

Both rumours won't go anywhere, but it would not stop the Whites from having made enquiries.

It's important to remember Leeds are entering their centenary year and have extra reason to want to make a marquee signing, a big name.

Owner Andrea Radrizzani has already proved he is capable of tempting big names to Leeds. Just look at manager Marcelo Bielsa.

The Whites also managed to lure Real Madrid stopper Kiko Casilla to Elland Road.

So it would be no surprise if Leeds are exploring the market to look for a big name to mark the club's 100th anniversary, and lift spirits after just missing out on promotion.

Leeds are already linked with Wolves winger Helder Costa, BBC Sport report.

Yet perhaps there's an even bigger name around the corner. Don't expect Buffon or Totti, but Leeds may have another ace up their sleeve. Perhaps even in time for July and the kit announcement.
