Leeds United winger Jack Clarke is reportedly on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar.

According to The Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur expect to complete the signing of Jack Clarke from Leeds United this week.

It has been reported that Premier League club Tottenham and Championship outfit Leeds have agreed on a £8.5 million transfer fee.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Clarke, who can also operate as a forward, is a very good and talented young winger who can be a success at Tottenham in the long run.

The 18-year-old has made only a handful of appearances for the Leeds first team, but the winger has done well when he has been called into action.

According to WhoScored, the winger made four starts and 20 substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this past season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.

Blow for Leeds United?

Clarke would have not exactly a first-team regular for Leeds next season, but the 18-year-old would have played an important role off the substitutes’ bench.

Leeds will be aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table next season and win automatic promotion to the Premier League.
