Celtic defender Kieran Tierney is reportedly wanted by Arsenal.

Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has stated on Twitter that he has not advised Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney regarding a move to Arsenal.

According to BBC Sport, Premier League club Arsenal are interested in signing Tierney from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Transfer consultant Ian McGarry has been quoted as saying by Football Scotland that Liverpool left-back Robertson advised Tierney to move on from Celtic to further his career.

Robertson, 25, has strongly denied that he suggested to his Scotland international teammate Tierney to leave Celtic.

Leaving Celtic

Tierney is one of the best young left-backs in Europe, and there is no surprise that Arsenal are reportedly interested in the 22-year-old left-back.

The Gunners could do with a young and dynamic left-back in their team, and Tierney could be a star for the Gunners in years to come.

Celtic, though, would suffer a blow if the 22-year-old leaves Celtic Park in the summer transfer window.
